Time really flies - can't believe we are almost halfway through the year! Honestly, it still feels like Christmas was just yesterday! π
We've been hustling for the past few months ...meeting lovely new faces, setting up pop-ups, and building meaningful connections along the way. And I thought - maybe this is a good moment to pause, reintroduce myself, and share where Fego is heading next.
I've always been a craft love soul. Having worked in the creative world most of my life, I've found joy in all things beautiful - from styling cosy spaces to arranging flowers, wood-working and getting hands-on with handmade things. It's always been the quiet little things that bring me the most peace.
After years in the creative and events agencies in Singapore, I've tried moving into the floral world - but something still felt missing. The routine didn't spark joy and eventually, I felt that it's time to come home and take a break or perhaps, I may find something more meaningful on my own.
Where It All Began
That's exactly how Fego started - with me filling my home with macrame pieces for myself, friends and family. What started as something small and personal slowly blossomed into a heartfelt journey, inspiring me to build a space to celebrate handcrafted pieces for home living, lifestyle and gifting - mostly handmade and heart-led.
Today, “Fego” (Feel good) is more than a name. It’s a promise: that everything we create is designed to make you pause, smile, and truly feel good. Over the past year and a half, many of you have come to know us for our cosy and craft home items - and I am so grateful. But lifestyle had always been part of our origin too as we believed that the things you choose to surround yourself with should tell your story, spark joy and bring comfort in the everyday. And this year, I am returning to that origin that started it all : macrame.
